Reason

There are a number of reasons you may experience difficulty with your password. Check the following issues to see if they may apply.

Solution

Make sure you are using the appropriate user name and password for the e-Anatomy website

Your e-Anatomy ID is usually your e-mail address. If you have changed e-mail accounts since your last sign in to e-Anatomy, log in using the old e-mail address. (You will be able to change the ID once you are signed in.).

Use the online assistants

If you forgot your e-Anatomy password, click the appropriate link on the Sign In page, or select the following link:

Note: If the password assistant does not recognize your e-Anatomy ID, verify that you spelled it correctly.

Follow the onscreen instructions in the assistant wizard.

Check the keyboard settings

To ensure that your e-Anatomy ID and password are formatted correctly, verify that the Caps Lock key and the Num Lock key are disabled. Passwords are case-sensitive, which means that the e-Anatomy membership signin treats the word Password differently from password. To change keyboard settings, see the documentation that came with the computer or keyboard.

Allow cookies and then sign in

If the browser returns to the Sign In page without an error, the browser has rejected the cookie that e-Anatomy sends to your computer. To accept this cookie, change the privacy, or cookie, settings for your browser or network to accept all cookies. For instructions on enabling cookies for the browser, see the help that's included with the browser or contact your network administrator or Internet Service Provider (ISP) for assistance with enabling cookies across your network.

Disable web anonymization

If you use an anonymizing website or an anonymizing proxy, disable the proxy software, or type www.e-Anatomy.org directly in the address bar before you sign in to the e-Anatomy website.
